The FCC Board of Directors wants you to run for a spot on the board at the Annual Meeting next March. If ever there was a time when we need you to step up and contribute- your interest, commitment, experience, and wise counsel- it’s now, as we move into the heart of the expansion project. These next three years will include a final go/ no go decision by the board, a year or so of actually building out the new store, and our hoped for grand opening.
There will be six seats open this year; it could be your time to step up and be a candidate. If you’re interested, contact Peter Garbus, chair of the Board Development Committee, at bdc@franklincommunity.coop to receive more information. Also plan to attend the January (Wed, Jan 17th) board meeting to see what it’s all about.
The chief reward for serving on the Board is the satisfaction which comes from doing useful work. Board members also receive a 15% working-member discount.
